Customer’s complaint

Exact Systems company is the main supplier of the storting & rework services for one of the biggest producer of the seat belts since 2004.

Taking into consideration the complexity of the cooperation, we provide our Customer with the support in resolving the quality problems concerning the products delivered to the Customer.

CUSTOMER'S DESCRIPTION

Our Customer is in the top ten of the automotive industry suppliers. It is the producer of the: seat belts, seat belts’ lock, height adjuster and airbag’s modules.

PROBLEM'S DESCRIPTION

In 2007 the plant indicated the problem with one of their product which was delivered to the Italian Customer. Because of the problem’s complexity the best solution was to delegate to the Customer a person who would know the product and the possibilities of resolving the issue.

  • The Customer expected the immediate reaction and resolving the problem
  • Lack of the possibility of delegating the production line worker to the Customer’s plant
  • The need for a quick intervention, conducting the control and the change of the faulty component

THE SOLUTION

Thanks to the long-term cooperation with this plant, we were able to got acquainted in more detailed way with the manufactured products and quality problems that could appear during the production process. Because of this we were a great tool in hands of the plant that the Customer could use to resolve the problem. Within less than 24h one of experienced Exact Systems’ Engineers could begin the control and change of the faulty components at the Italian Customer’s plant.

The plant proved also that even incidental case of the quality problem with the delivery is possible to be resolved at the highest level without the interferences in the Customer’s production cycle.
